What you'll learn
- How to upload your logo and set brand colors
- Where branding appears on proposals
- Plan requirements for custom branding
Custom branding requires a Pro plan or higher. Free and Solo users see Ergate's default branding on shared proposals. Compare plans →
Branding settings
Navigate to Settings → Branding to configure how your proposals look when shared or exported.
Logo
Upload your company or personal logo. Supported formats include PNG, JPG, and SVG. The logo appears at the top of shared proposal pages and on exported PDF and DOCX documents.
For best results:
- Use a horizontal or square logo
- Keep the file under 2 MB
- Use a transparent background (PNG or SVG) for the cleanest look
Brand color
Click the color picker to choose your primary brand color. This color is used for:
- Headings and accents on shared proposal pages
- The header bar on exported documents
- Link and button colors in the web view
You can enter an exact hex code (e.g., #2563EB) or use the visual picker to find the right shade.
Choose a color that has good contrast against white backgrounds. Dark blues, greens, and reds work well. Avoid very light colors that won't be readable.
Proposal footer
Add custom footer text that appears at the bottom of every shared and exported proposal. Common uses include:
- Your company tagline
- A confidentiality notice
- Contact information
- Legal disclaimers or terms references
The footer supports plain text only — no formatting or links.
Where branding appears
| Element | Shared link | PDF export | DOCX export | |---------|-------------|------------|-------------| | Logo | Top of page | Header | Header | | Brand color | Headings, accents | Header bar | Heading color | | Footer | Bottom of page | Last page | Last page |
Removing branding
To revert to Ergate's default branding, delete your logo and clear the footer text. The brand color resets to Ergate's default blue when you click Reset.
Branding and templates
Your branding settings apply globally to all proposals. They are not stored per template — when you update your branding, all future shared links and exports reflect the new branding.
